Who We Are
Eastern Stars consists of three ensembles catered to players of different skill levels - the beginner Cadet Band, the intermediate Symphonic Band, and the premiere Concert Band. We're all about fostering inclusion and community spirit in our music and are often to be found performing at events in the broader Auckland community.
Eastern Stars is a group of East Auckland-based wind bands aimed at providing enriching entertainment to the community, and the opportunity to perform exciting, challenging music to woodwind, brass, and percussion players of all ages. We regularly attend and have won awards at band competitions such as the Matamata Festival of Music and the NZCBA Festival.
